Disney+ Throwback Campaign

Served as a key designer on Disney+’s first ever Throwbacks campaign, a nostalgia driven brand initiative that celebrated the iconic shows, music, and cultural moments of the late 90s and early 2000s. The campaign’s visual identity was shaped through close collaboration, including the development of the signature “Pinkalicious” color that became a defining element across all creative. The work was designed to engage young adult audiences across owned and earned channels by surfacing both fan favorite and unexpected titles, ultimately driving discovery and encouraging casual, feel-good viewing throughout the summer.

Creative contributions extended across multiple high visibility experiences and activations, including the Disney+ Throwback Experience, a fully immersive pop up on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles that brought beloved worlds to life, from Hannah Montana’s closet to the Pink Slip Garage. The experience also included a special launch event that reunited original Disney Channel talent, amplifying the campaign’s cultural resonance. Support was also provided for large scale out of home creative, including a full building takeover in Los Angeles featuring custom painted exteriors and window installations, as well as high impact placements across the city’s busiest beaches. The campaign ran throughout the summer, reinforcing Disney+ as a destination for nostalgic entertainment.
